Meet the Team

Dr Ben Dixon BDS, AssocFCGDent, MFDS RCPSG, Pg Dip Dent Ed, Pg Dip Oral Surgery, FHEA, MAcadMEd, MDTFEd. Ben qualified from Newcastle Dental School in 2018 and has since developed a strong reputation for delivering calm, high-quality patient care within both NHS and private practice. His main clinical interest lies in oral surgery, and he has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Oral Surgery, enabling him to carry out more complex tooth extractions and minor oral surgical procedures with confidence and precision. Alongside his clinical work, Ben plays an active role in shaping the next generation of dentists. He is a Training Programme Director for Dental Foundation Training in the North East of England, supporting and mentoring newly qualified dentists as they transition into practice. He is currently completing an MSc in Dental Education, reflecting his commitment to excellence in teaching and clinical standards. Ben is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (MFDS RCPSG) and holds professional recognition as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). He is also a member of the Academy of Medical Educators (AoME), a member of the Faculty of Dental Trainers, and an Associate Fellow of the College of General Dentistry, demonstrating his dedication to professional development and high standards in patient care. Outside of dentistry, Ben enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and long walks with his beloved dog, Winnie.
